Bruce Lynton added a new brand to its already impressive line-up in May this year becoming the official dealer of SsangYong vehicles on the Gold Coast.
Only three months on, Bruce Lynton announced professional ironwoman Courtney Hancock was now a proud brand ambassador for Gold Coast SsangYong with the dealership based in Minnie St in Southport.
The ironwoman, born in Perth but raised in Sawtell on the north coast of NSW, joined nippers when she was five years old.
After relocating to the Gold Coast and joining BMD Northcliffe Surf Club when she was 19, Courtney has gone from strength to strength.
The highlight of her career so far was wining multiple Australian and professional ironwoman series titles in 2011 and 2013.
In 2011, she also won the Coolangatta Gold, thus becoming the first person to win Surf Life Saving’s ‘triple crown’ of elite events in the same year.
“I’m excited to be representing Gold Coast Ssangyong, a division of the reputable Bruce Lynton Group,” she said.
“The drive and commitment I have needed to become a top athlete within the surf sports arena has also taught me dedication and loyalty which is reflected in my relationships with business partners and sponsors.”
“I am positive that Gold Coast Ssangyong and I will have a strong and longstanding partnership, built on a mutual ambition to be the top performer in their category.”
Damien Holley, General Manager of Gold Coast Ssangyong, was also happy with the new venture.
“Courtney is well known here on the coast and we are proud to be able to represent her through our new brand, Ssangyong,” he said.
“We wish her all the best in the upcoming year.”
